Harjinder Kaur Talwar, FLO President & Global Ambassador, IWEC hosted a celebratory dinner for the 39 successful women entrepreneurs from all over the world who received the iconic IWEC Award. More than 250 women entrepreneurs from 20 countries participated in the 12th Annual Awards & Conference of International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Foundation, IWEC 2019, held on Nov 11-12, 2019 in FICCI, Federation House, New Delhi.

The Conference with the theme Connecting Women Businesses Globally: Leading the Way to Innovation and Integration brought together 250 businesswomen from across 20 countries, cohesively driving the agenda for Scripting Economic Change for women across the globe.
The two day conference saw renowned spiritual leader, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji addressing the global participants on how to promote, grow and expand their businesses while managing their stress and emotional quotient. While Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport, Highways and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), addressed the gathering giving insight about the Indian industry and their preparedness to be the manufacturing hub for the global market.
Ms Sangita Reddy, Senior Vice President, FICCI & Joint Managing Director Apollo Hospitals Group; Ms Kalli Purie, the Vice Chairperson of the India Today Group and Ms Kiran Chopra, Director, Punjab Kesari Publishers Pvt. Ltd are the three awardees from India, besides 36 awardees from other countries.
This prestigious forum culminated with the IWEC Gala dinner to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the awardees. There was a beautiful presentation of Indian classical dance forms by Pushpanjali Cultural Academy showcasing the cultural heritage of India. The DJ took over the floor after that and there was a beautiful site of women from all over the world dancing to the sound of music.
Among the guests present were the royalties from Bahrain, Jordan and Ambasasadors, Member of Parliaments, governing body members of Flo and city’s renowned personalities. Guest included H.E. Mr. Farhod ARZIEV, Uzbekistan Ambassador, MPmm Anurag Sharma, Shovana Narayan, Sharon Lowen, Nasir Abdullah, Designers Suket Dhir, Abha Dalmia, Jewellery Designer Ambar Pariddi Sahai, etc.
