AROH Foundation, leading national NGO organized several events to celebrate Children’s day and pay tribute to the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. On the special day, AROH Foundation conducted various programs like competitions, games, fun activities for children to educating them about the importance of the day across all its centres in Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Bihar, Odisha, Delhi, and Uttarakhand.
At HDFC supported HRDP’s “Parivartan “in Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Meghalaya, along with competitions, and fun activities, awareness drive has been run to create awareness about the importance of the day. At other centers in Bihar, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Odisha, cultural activities and various competitions has been conducted which saw an active participation from children.
AROH also joined hands with WAPCOS to mark the occasion by providing trainings to teachers under Swastha Bharat project. Teachers from 30 various government schools attended the training session to ensure they understand, provide and sustain a basic healthy and sanitary environment in the schools and communities nearby.
Addressing the staff and beneficiaries at its Noida Centre, Dr. Neelam Gupta (Founder, AROH Foundation) said, “I am happy to see the children participate in large numbers at our project sites. They are our most treasured possessions and we must make them aware about the importance of this day. The celebration is also a tribute to the first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.”
