Dr. Kuiljeit Uppaal, the ‘World’s First Image Scientist’ has been honoured with several awards for excellence in the world of innovation, education and social impact including the prestigious ‘World Innovation Award – Hall of Fame Honour’ 2019, ‘Innovative Education Leadership Award for Excellence in Social Innovation & Global Impact’ 2019’, World Education Award 2018 for Innovation and the ‘Naari Udyamita Puraskar’ 2018 by the MSME Ministry & WES amongst many others.
She has been conferred with the esteemed honour of ‘Karmaveer Chakra Award’ by the United Nations and iCongo, as well as the ‘National Icon 2020’ and ‘The Pride of Maharashtra’ 2017.
Dr. Kuiljeit has been bestowed with the esteemed ‘Inspirational Polymath Award’ being an Image Scientist, an Aviator, an Entrepreneur, Creative Director, an Author and an Educationist amongst other hats that she wears. This ‘Genius Polymath’ is an Asia Book of Records, World Records India, Bharat Book of World Records and India Book of Records holder for being the First Image Scientist in the World!
While the lady modestly shares that she simply has a ‘curiosity bug’ since childhood, which makes her an avid learner for life, she has scientifically devised innovative concepts like PRIM, D-PRIM and her invention PIQ, the world’s first ever Persona and Image Quotient. Adept in planning and strategizing for academic programs, she has also created unique training and curriculum methodologies, for which she has been felicitated with Awards for Excellence and Quality.
She has contributed to the creation of a few hundred educational books in Aviation, IT, Personality Development, Customer Service and more and is now releasing her book on Persona and Image Management. She has written several research papers and book chapters in Scopus indexed reputed international journals and publications like Springer. As a Master Sensei and T3 Expert she has trained and certified many academic heads and trainers across industries.
Apart from over two decades of corporate work in varied industries, she is passionately engaged with her PSR and dynamic mission, ‘PRIM Worldwide : Mission Possible’ to make a positive difference to the image of the youth and women of India and across the globe, especially those who are relatively economically challenged. This, in her words is ‘her duty’ to do something for her beloved country that has made her whatever she is today; and help nurture the future crop of the country towards building their self worth, image and confidence. She has tremendous faith in the potential and wisdom of the youth, when channelized in the right direction; and she is working toward impacting at least 1 million individuals in the coming decade.
Born to an Indian Air Force Officer and married to an Indian Army Officer, she has loved India like a true patriot and has wanted to do her country proud in every way. From national sports to music and classical dance renditions, from being India’s best NCC cadet to touching lives globally, and from being a Youth Ambassador of the country to being the First Image Scientist in the World, she has always tried to make India proud like a devoted daughter of the soil! Dr. Kuiljeit Uppaal epitomizes the true talent of a genius polymath and a progressive Indian woman touching the sky with glory!
