Delhi based personalities celebrates the 5th edition of International Yoga Day with Zeal

New Delhi, 21st June 2019: Thousands of young and old people across the country united to observe the fifth International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. The theme this time was “Climate Action”.

Yoga Day is celebrated every year on 21 June to raise awareness worldwide about the benefits of Yoga in daily life.

Climate Action theme focuses on the way how yoga can help us to solve the problem of climate change and also it bring lot more benefits into the lives of people. On the occasion Delhi based personalities participated in huge numbers to support it. Some of them were:

– Anjum Chopra, Former Indian Women Cricket Team Captain & Analyst

“I enjoy a good workout and like to maintain my fitness. When am traveling or with paucity of time or space, practising Yoga helps in completing my work-out and do my stretches. I like doing the Surya Namaskar. At times, I sit in a meditative pose and focus on my breathing. It’s a great way to connect with self.
