In India, every second child is sexually abused. 90% of cases go unreported. There is silence around the topic of child sexual abuse. It is crucial to break the bubble of silence. To spread awareness about the issue of child sexual abuse, Our Voix and Those In Need have collaborated to bring ‘Global Bubble Parade’ in New Delhi this 26th May 2019.
Our Voices are powerful. Our Voice has the power to make a dent into this world. There is still a generation whose voices are not heard by society, a section whose voice was missing from me too campaign. Let’s be their voice today. Let’s be the voice for our younger brother and sisters, cousins and nephews, etc.
The Bubble Parade, a fundraising initiative for Our Voix will be based on the theme of Power of Voix.
Our aim through this event is to make people raise their voice, share stories where their voice has made an impact and how collective voices can influence people. Through activities, music, games, face paint, we will celebrate the power of voice. It will be a platform where the participants will raise their voice without getting ashamed or blamed for the same.
The Bubble Parade has been a global sensation in bringing together passionate individuals who share the belief that happiness is the journey, not destination. This peaceful walk full of soapy bubbles will be a liberating experience for all participants who believe in breaking their own bubble of self-consciousness. Let’s break the bubble of silence together. Together we are powerful.

Megha, founder of Our voix says “We need to add #ourvoix to the voice of the young children. Add your voice before their lips get stitched by the abuser. Bubble Parade is a festival where we together break the bubble of silence and raise our voice. I strongly believe together we can prevent sexual abuse. Together make childhood safe again.”
