On the eve of the Eastern Economic Forum ( EEF) 2024, business circles are beginning to intensify and plan preparations for the events. Within the forum: business, non-profit organizations, and government agencies have the opportunity to discuss plans and problems at one table in search of the best solutions and the most profitable investments. Thus, with the support of the Agency for Attracting Investments in the Ivanovo Region, in preparation for EEF 2024, an official visit of the Indian delegation to the Ivanovo region was held. The delegation included representatives of the All-Indian Association of Industrialists and the Russian-Indian Trading House of Mumbai.
During the visit of the delegation, a working meeting was held with the Governor of the Ivanovo region Vyacheslav Voskresensky. At the meeting, the prospects for cooperation between the Ivanovo region and Indian private and public organizations were discussed. The Indian delegation showed interest in the fields of education, woodworking, IT and pharmaceuticals. The All-Indian Association of Industry is searching for Indian investors for the construction of a pharmaceutical factory in the Ivanovo region. The parties also discussed expanding cooperation on educational programs. Medical applicants from India are already coming to the Ivanovo region, and from 2025 it is planned to attract and train applicants from the Ivanovo Energy University to work at Russian nuclear power plants in India.
The delegation visited several IT enterprises in the Ivanovo region, Neurosoft, Garpiks, and Aquarius discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation. The parties expressed interest in the opportunities that the Russian and Indian markets open for both parties.
Holding round tables and personal meetings at the interstate level helps strengthen bilateral cooperation between Russia and India and opens up new opportunities for the development of our countries.
