Producer Ashissh Saraf shares similar views on the subject.
“Cinema has a huge reach and thus, if we make good, positive films it will have a good impact on the society. My parents were the producers of Maa Santoshi Maa and I was very young when that film released but I still remember the impact the film had on the audience. The phone at the office was always ringing and people kept calling us to tell how the film had a life-altering impact on them. Going forward, I will definitely produce more such films under my banner Mrinank Films,” says Ashissh.
Maa Santoshi Maa released in the year 2003 and completes 17 years of its release this year. The film was produced by Ashissh Filmcraft which had been recently rechristened as Mrinank Films.
