UYA Yoga Alliance or Universal Yoga Alliance is the organization representing the yoga community. UYA is an organization is situated in the India and UYA Associated with Worlds leading fitness Brand WFF (World Fitness Federation) and WFF Yoga International division. UYA/WFF Yoga has several Divisions around the world, each headed by a dedicated Director, who serve as our representatives in their respective countries. WFF History
The WFF was founded in 1968 in Germany by Klaus Hoffmann. The early WFF events were promoted within Eastern Europe, however throughout the 1990s international interest in WFF events drew support from far and wide and today the WFF is supported throughout every continent. Graeme Lancefield became the World President of WFF in 2013, taking over from Hoffmann upon his retirement.

This reflects Honor’s understanding and commitment to yoga as a practice supporting physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and community health and wellness.
2. Is Universal Yoga Alliance certification necessary?
All those who successfully complete the Yoga Teacher Training with any ‘Universal Yoga Alliance’ Affiliated School or Division are given the official UYA Certificate for Students. Any Diploma certified by UYA gives you multiple opportunities and benefits with our organization, as the highest educational standards are our priority. Each certified graduate will be provided with a unique ID Number, allowing for free continuous training with our Divisions within the next 2 years (after you successfully complete your training with Universal Yoga Alliance and receive your Certificate).
3. Is Universal Yoga Alliance internationally recognized?
Universal Yoga Alliance is an international board for yoga education, UYA Associated with Worlds leading fitness Brand WFF (World Fitness Federation) and WFF Yoga International division. Our vision is to build a worldwide network of yoga teachers and schools by providing an opportunity to join an International Registry of Certified Yoga Teachers (CYT) and Certified Yoga Schools (CYS), as well as Certified Yoga Teachers (CYT) and Certified Yoga Schools (CYS). In order to fulfill our yoga and health educational mission, we host a lot of yoga business conferences, seminars, and workshops throughout the year in all our divisions around the world. Our Registered Members receive various discounts on events and courses organized by the UYA, and all our Certified Members receive free ongoing educational support and have a chance to attend workshops, seminars, and conferences. We provide topics and materials to support the continuous education of our yoga teachers, schools, institutions, and studios.
