Recently popular RJ Divyaa of Radio City 91.1 FM digitally launched Raktsewa.com, a social venture started by Shivam Ahuja during a radio interview with Shivam Ahuja.

Shivam who handles Public Relation Portfolio and digital event management for numerous high-profile and prominent personalities in the city started this public site for a larger social cause. The idea behind launching the digital public site is to help people seeking blood or plasma, which has a large network of donors registered with Raktsewa.com. Shivam Ahuja explains -“I saw people struggling during the outbreak of COVID-19 to seek blood or plasma and I was moved by their desperation. That’s when I decided to start a two-way public site to help people chiefly the underprivileged class who are unable to communicate for various reasons. This is a free social enterprise and anybody can utilize the services for free.”

Through Raktsewa.com, people or recipients from Delhi or any state can simply submit a request mentioning their requirement. There is a digital form where the required details can be filled correctly. The requirement is forwarded to the registered network or volunteers without disclosing the recipients confidential information or contact details.”

Shivam said during the Radio interview that often people don’t get blood or plasma when it is urgently needed and his team has put posters at hospitals and prominent public places to create awareness among people seeking blood or plasma.

He added-“If the recipients have someone admitted in a hospital, they can also mention the Hospital and other relevant details for quick response and action. The recipients must provide an active contact number to help our team to communicate faster and arrange the blood or plasma quickly.”
