As the cinema of India continues to spellbind the world with its magic, the audiences in Budapest are all set to experience the grandeur of Indian films for the 5th consecutive year.
The iconic brand of Indian cinema that aims at spreading love and happiness will be on display as The Embassy of India in Hungary and Indian Film Festival Worldwide (IFFW) gear up to jointly organise the 5th edition of the mega INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL HUNGARY in Budapest from 7th – 13th October 2019 at the state of the art Cinema Pink.
The INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL HUNGARY is an endeavour to promote the art and culture between India & Hungary via Indian cinema and shall showcase 12 masterpiece films in different Indian languages deftly curated by Captain Rahul Sudesh Bali and would be attended by Award winning Actors and Film Makers of Indian cinema like Raima Sen, Umesh Shukla, Rahul Mittra & Dr. Raju Chadha as well as some of the biggest names from the Hungarian Film, Art & Cultural Fraternities.
A Press Conference announcing the Indian Film Festival Hungary was organised at the Embassy of Hungary in Delhi. Bollywood Actor Raima Sen, DG ICCR Ahkilesh Mishra & Film Maker Dr. Raju Chadha interacted with the media as The Ambassador of Hungary H.E. Gyula Petho alongwith Curator IFFW Captain Rahul Sudesh Bali gave insights into the festival.
INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL HUNGARY is dedicated to Indian Cinema showcasing path breaking films from India which have been carefully curated and proudly organised by Indian Film Festival Worldwide (IFFW) under the patronage of The Embassy of India in Hungary. The film lovers and audiences in Budapest will have an opportunity to see some great works of creative brilliance by master Indian film makers by way of these Indian movies which will go a long way in strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two countries.
Ambassador of India in Hungary Sh. Kumar Tuhin addressing the media via a video message from Budapest said that Indian Film Festival Hungary is an important festival in their annual event calendar that has become a great platform for cultural exchanges and mutual appreciation of cinema between India & Hungary.
The festival is a brilliant initiative to boost the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The grand opening ceremony of the INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL HUNGARY will take place in Budapest on the 7th October and a lot of celebrities from both India and Hungary are expected to walk the Red Carpet on the opening day of the festival. A lot of interactive and entertaining events have been meticulously planned by IFFW and AMRITA SHER-GIL CULTURAL CENTRE BUDAPEST during the 7-day festival.
