Raghuram Rajan signs 3-film deal with YRF

Former RBI Governor & present ‘PC jewelers’ MD Raghuram Rajan has signed a 3-film deal with Yash Raj Films. Shobha De confirmed the news to NDTV. De also said that she was playing the female lead in all the 3 movies. YRF honcho Aditya Chopra said that no screen tests were required for both Rajan & De. Karan Johar urged his supporters to support the ‘couple’ and help them pull off a heist at the Box office.

The first movie will be titled ‘Bank Chor.’ Rajan is also making headlines in Britain, where he will resume his shoot after his short stint with the Bank of England. Rajan also confirmed that he would be suing a few media channels for defamation. Former Home Minister P Chidambaram will represent Rajan in court.

When questioned by the Media, Chidambaram declined to comment. Rajan requested the media to give Chidambaram some space, stating that the silence would be over once Karti is acquitted. Rajan’s media statement was released on the 1st of April. The other 2 movies will be titled ‘notebandi’ and GST (Gandhi Seva Trust).

Patriotic gangster, Chota Rajan expressed his displeasure after reports confirmed Rajan would rock the big screens from this year. Chota also criticized Bollywood for not making a biopic on him & giving preference to sophisticated frauds. Chota Rajan after consulting his numerologist will add an extra ‘n’ in Rajan to avoid confusion with ‘Bank Chor.’

Riteish Deshmukh was also disappointed that his movie was being remade & he was not even approached for it. Vivek Oberoi, the other actor in the previously released ‘Bank Chor’ wished Rajan all the luck. “I’m happy that our country is accepting merit since 2014 & this trend is not going to stop soon.”

Bank Chor will clash with ‘Veerey Di Wedding’ on June 1, 2018. YRF spokespersons said this would be the ideal release date, as the other movie was bound to fail miserably.
