Natya Tarangini organized 4th edition of ‘Maha Shivaratri’ Festival on Friday at ‘Raja Radha Rangmanch’ at Saket. It was an Annual Festival organized on “Maha Shivaratri” to pay an Ode to Lord Shiva – the creator of Dance with an intention to bring all the artists under one roof to worship Lord Shiva through his Music and Dance.

This year, the artists who graced the evening with their soulful performances paying tribute to Lord Shiva were Padma Vibhushan Chhannulal Mishra, Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar, Smt. Poushali Chatterjee and Sindhu Ravuri & Natya Tarangini Group

The concert was attended by most eminent personalities of like Ambassador Akhilesh Mishra,AS,Development Patnership Administration,Ministry of External Affairs with wife Reeti Mishra, Kamal and Asha Modi Director Art Karat, Neelam Pratap Rudy,Ashok Chakradhar, Charu Singhajit Singh and Gaurav Grover to name a few.

On the occasion of Mahashivratri festival, the academy also felicitated the veteran maestros for their lifetime contribution and achievement in the field of art and culture –

Senior Journalist Ravindra Mishra, National Awardees Charu Singhajit Singh (Manipuri dance duo), Padma Shri Ashok Chakradhar (poet).
