Local to Global: Shift in the Handloom Sector

Antaran, a crafts-focused initiative of TataTrusts, is collaborating with FDCI to figure out Opportunities for Handloom in the New-Age Creative Economy. The intent of this panel discussion is to explore business possibilities and market linkages for artisan-entrepreneurs in the long-term. Antaran will also have a stall in the Exhibition Centre at LMIFW SS20, where the work of artisans it supports in Odisha (Maniabandha), Assam (Kamrup) & Nagaland will be displayed. The products will be sold directly by the artisans on October 13, the day of the FDCI Designer Stockroom sale.
