Delhi to have the 10th edition of FACE TO FACE, a FICCI Ladies Organisation initiative, with the Commissioner of Police, Amulya Patnaik.
‘Face to Face with the Government’ is FICCI LADIES ORGANISATION (FLO) HQ’s annual flagship event to facilitate women’s interactions with leaders from the bureaucracy and various government agencies on various issues and concerns of women. For the last 10 years, FLO has had the special privilege of bringing the senior most administrators of the Government for programme. The month of August has been declared by FLO as the month for FACE TO FACE with the Government pan India.
Face to Face – was initiated in 2009, by Ms Harjinder Kaur Talwar who is the current National President of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO). Needless to say, over the 10 years the event has gained immense popularity and attendance.
In Earlier seasons of Face to Face Program, we had the various panels comprising of Chief Secretary, Police Commissioner(s) of Delhi, Police Chiefs of NCR, Jt. Police Commissioner-Traffic, Secretary NORTH, MCD Commissioner, sales tax Commissioner, Transport Commissioner, Industry Commissioner, Vigilance Commissioner, NDMC Chairman and Municipal Commissioners of all Delhi zones to mention a few.
FICCI FLO members and media look forward to this event every year, as it is the most apt way to bridge the communication gap between the civil society and the government for interactive discussions and improved redressal of issues and concerns.
Ms Talwar says, “It is not only the prerogative and accountability of the law enforcement bodies for upkeeping law and order, but the civil society also owes great responsibility towards the maintenance of law and order. With this objective, I had initiated FACE TO FACE 10 years back. Today, it has emerged as the most effective platform for a collaborative communication between the policy makers and the civil society and to come out with effective redressal.”
The FACE TO FACE WITH POLICE will be held at New Delhi in the month of August 2019 with Shri Amulya Patnaik, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi. Commemorating the 10th edition of FACE TO FACE, this year FLO pan India Chapters is organising the event across 16 different locations.
