On one side where soldiers are saluted for their bravery and protecting their motherland, doctors are praised for saving those children of motherland. There is a very thin line between these two, but the most common factor is that both the profession fights and protects there people.
Well known film maker Vevek who has done many films, talks about his shortfilm called ‘Motherland: A Tribute To The Armed Forces Of India’ and it features a story of a soldier which draws from everyday cases of discrimination and prejudice against people from different states.
While interacting, filmmaker Vevek says, “The central theme of the movie is anchored in the idea of our ability to rise above our differences and stand in unity to protect our motherland from the enemies. I would also like to thank my entire team as it happened only because of an extremely talented team of professionals who made it possible. “
Gorgeous actress Flora Saini who plays a very crucial role in the short film is very happy with the film and says, “Being from an army family, I can so relate to the subject of Motherland. It’s beautifully written by Vevek, especially the dialogues.”
She also talks about the current scenario of COVID-19 and says, “I’m seeing a soldier spirit in doctors. Hats-off to them for fighting with the enemy who is not even visible.”
