In a new addition to it’s existing state of art services provided for the common man UP government now extended an infrastructure presenting a bus terminus with a multiplex, mall and a gaming zone.
Built with the finest of world class technologies and air conditioned waiting rooms the project is an undertaking under the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) in partnership with Shalimar Group.
The admirable services of inter modal connectivity of buses with a metro station on the premises is a result of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
While inaugurating the terminal CM Yogi Adityanath emphasised on the importance of better transportation facilities for the overall development while highlighting the BJP government’s commitment to the provision of modern day facilities at the bus stand.
He also praised the Transport Minister Swatantra Dev Singh for his efforts of turning the losses to earnings of a profit of Rs.122 crore in 2017-18. He further added that the upcoming Kumbh Mela in Allahabad would be a challenge as it a large number of pilgrims using the state transport.
For the new Alambagh Bus Terminus is a high tech modern day transit station complex with a pivotal support to the Lucknow in its rapid growth and development.
