In a unique blend of spirituality and cutting-edge technology, Durlabh Darshan has announced the launch of the world’s first large-scale 6D immersive spiritual experience centers, in collaboration with renowned actor . The initiative aims to bring devotees closer to India’s most revered temples through advanced Virtual Reality (VR) technology.
With this innovation, devotees will be able to experience दर्शन (darshan), rituals, and temple environments from a single location, as if physically present. The 6D experience goes beyond visuals, incorporating elements like water, air, and fragrance to recreate the authentic atmosphere of temples.
Speaking at a press conference in Delhi, Ashutosh Rana, who joins the platform as Brand Ambassador and Mentor, said, “Religion has its own science, and science has its own spirituality. Where the two meet, that is Durlabh Darshan. This is the world’s first 6D spiritual experience that allows people to connect with divinity from anywhere.”
The first phase of the project will feature immersive experiences from eleven prominent temples across India. The series will begin on July 1 with “Shri Ram Ki Ayodhya” and “Ujjaini Ke Mahakaal,” where Rana will serve as the presenter, narrating mythological stories and spiritual significance associated with each temple.
The content for these experiences has been written by noted author Aalok Shrivastav known for his work on spiritual literature, including the widely appreciated interpretation of the Shiv Tandav Stotra narrated by Rana.
Prashant Mishra, Founder of Durlabh Darshan and TechXR Innovations, an IIT Kanpur alumnus and former IRS officer, stated that the platform aims to solve a major challenge faced by millions of devotees—limited access and brief temple visits due to heavy crowds. “Our immersive centers recreate the sanctity of temple rituals, allowing devotees to feel as if they are inside the sanctum. Through our mobile VR kits, users can also experience over 60 sacred locations from home,” he said.
The company plans to expand the offering with future projects including Char Dham Yatra, 12 Jyotirlingas, Shakti Peeths, Jagannath Rath Yatra, Vrindavan Parikrama, and Kailash Mansarovar.
Durlabh Darshan’s 6D technology is entirely Made in India, with a patent already filed. The system integrates VR headsets with specialized machines that simulate environmental elements in real time, enhancing the immersive experience.
