Press Conference for the much-awaited Hindi film Hum Angrezon Ke Zamane Ke Jailer Hain was held at the Film Division in the national capital, Delhi. The film is considered one of the last projects of legendary actor Asrani, making it a highly anticipated release among cinema lovers and fans.
Actor Mushtaq Khan, director Rakesh Sawant, and producer Bhanwar Singh Pundir were present at the event and shared several interesting insights and experiences related to the film with the media.
The film features an ensemble cast including Milind Gunaji, Zarina Wahab, Mushtaq Khan, and several other renowned artists in pivotal roles. It is directed by Rakesh Sawant and produced by Shweta Chauhan, Bhanwar Singh Pundir, and Rakesh Sawant.
Earlier, during a press conference held in Mumbai, actress Rakhi Sawant paid tribute to Asrani by presenting a special performance inspired by his iconic jailer character from the classic film Sholay, an emotional moment that touched everyone present.
Speaking at the Delhi press conference, director Rakesh Sawant revealed that when Asrani was informed about the title Hum Angrezon Ke Zamane Ke Jailer Hain, he was delighted and blessed the team for the film’s success.
The film is a gripping murder mystery thriller that revolves around the conflict between Thakur Vishwajeet Singh and the Savatei family, which escalates into a series of horrifying crimes and shocking revelations. The mystery is investigated by Inspector Dev and Inspector Rana, taking audiences on a thrilling journey filled with suspense, drama, romance, and action.
Shot amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Uttarakhand, the film promises stunning visuals, an emotionally engaging storyline, and soulful music.
Director Rakesh Sawant said, “This film is extremely special and emotional for us because it carries one of Asrani Ji’s memorable performances. We have tried to deliver a complete entertainment package for the audience.”

Produced under the banners of Jaya Films and Gajanan Motion Movies, the film stars Asrani, Milind Gunaji, Zarina Wahab, Raksha Gupta, Muskan Verma, Vishnu Sharma, Abhinav Chauhan, and Mushtaq Khan in prominent roles.
Hum Angrezon Ke Zamane Ke Jailer Hain is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 12, 2026.
