In the year 2020, her NGO Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust supported the cancer patients and raised awareness towards cancer at the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2020. Nidarshana Gowani walked the ramp with children from the Tata Memorial Hospital. Along with her are seen leading celebrities like Ameesha Patel and Anurag Basu also supporting the cause of Ankibai Ghamadiram Gowani Trust during the Bombay Times Fashion Week.
During the event Nidarshana Gowani was quoted saying, “We are glad to have received the tremendous support from the leading industry celebrities towards the noble cause. The children are our future and are still challenged with the deadly disease. As the members of the society let us all work actively towards mitigating the disease and its impact on the society.”
Since its incorporation, the Trust has launched various outreach programs and initiatives for care diagnosis, prevention and treatment for cancer patients. Apart from this, during the pandemic, Nidarshana Gowani and her Trust conducted various programs for the COVID warriors, towards COVID relief and creating awareness.
