When you can transform your company into a brand, you know you are doing something right. A brand is a trustful company who has quality and who has regular customers who are extremely satisfied with the product. When you become a brand you can choose the best team for your business. But, how can you know if a person is the best for your company?

The answer to that question is actually pretty simple. To attract the best team for your brand you have to use the brand to lure people to you. There are few things you can do to attract those kinds of people and they are mostly related to your brand.

Keep the image of your brand clear. In the internet era, people google everything. That means that every possible employee will look for your brand on the Twitter or Facebook and if those profiles aren’t updated, they will move on. An updated profile means that you care about your appearance, you care about possible customers and you want to do everything you can to bring them to you. If someone is looking for your brand on the internet and they can’t find the address or the working hours that means you don’t care. If you don’t care about customers you probably don’t care about the employees too.

One of the most important things you can do during the job interview is, to be honest about what you are looking for. You can explain to the person that this may not be the best paying job in the universe but they can grow in the business. You can explain them the policy of the company, what you are looking for and observe their reaction. After everything, you can ask them the same thing. What are they expecting, what are their opinions, desires or wishes. You can learn a lot about a person when you ask the right questions. Honesty will get you far because if you promise a person a high salary or office jobs, keep that promise. Don’t sugar-coat it. If your company requires office jobs but with trips to another city every week, don’t forget to mention that. If you do, you will attract the wrong people and that can bring you more harm than well. If you are proud of your brand then you will find the best person for the job by being honest.

Keep the atmosphere in the office positive. It is easier to work in a company where everybody is friendly because there are no tensions in the air. The intense atmosphere makes people nervous and they can’t concentrate. Maintaining a healthy atmosphere in the office affects everyone and you can see that in the numbers. You, as the leader, have to be sure that everything is OK in the office. You can’t do much for the relations outside the office, but you can in the office.
